Fashion and Wine

Leah here! I'm a Winexpert account manager in British Columbia. People who know me know that I have a passion for fashion! One of my other passions is wine, and I like to think of it as a terrific fashion accessory. Think of it: instead of just toting around a great Michael Kors purse at your next party, you could compliment it with one of your favourite wines. Here are my most stylish picks:

What Christian Louboutin is to shoes, Riesling and Gewürztraminer are to wine for me. I LOVE a great glass (or on a good night a bottle!) of German Gewürztraminer or a nice Washington Riesling. In fact, I am sipping on a Washington Riesling as I type (ah, hence the typo's–Ed.) Winexpert's Selection Washington Columbia Valley Riesling is simply fabulous! If you have the urge to paint the town red, you definitely need Pinot Noir. This wine is like a Chanel suit: classy, sassy, elegant and always in style. I thought it was very appropriate when I came across a New Zealand Pinot Noir called Leah Pinot Noir. Just like me, it was irresistible and worth every penny (ha ha!) I was completely disheartened when we were forced to discontinue our Selection International New Zealand Pinot Noir–what a tragedy! Thankfully we have a replacement that's going to knock the Manolo Blahniks right off your feet, the new Selection International Chilean Pinot Noir. Scrumptious!

What better way to complement a Tiffany bracelet than with a glass of ice wine. Everyone could use a little "sweet" in their lives. I almost fell off my chair when I tried a glass of ice wine with some blue cheese. What a delectable treat!! It's just as good with a dessert or even as dessert.
