Live, From the Internet, It's Limited Edition!

Maryland Homebrew Lecture
Limited Edition season has me running all over the continent doing shows telling people about the wines, their flavours and the foods that go with them. Last week I was in Detroit and Indianapolis with Brian from LD Carlson, and we did shows for Jason at Adventures in Homebrewing and Great Fermentations of Indianapolis.
Above is a shot from two weeks ago, where we did a tasting for Maryland Homebrew. David from LD was there minding me, reminding me to get out of bed, and keeping me from falling into ditches or forgetting my glasses, and Don and Chris had a neat venue for us. It was a fun time--some great questions from the folks, and I heard a lot of comments about the wine and food pairings we were doing.
For folks who couldn't get out to one of the shows, we have a new feature, a piece of streaming video showing me doing the wine and food pairing with all five of the wines. It's a teeny bit choppy because it's part of a presentation I gave to our dealers in the Lower Mainland of BC, and we lopped out a chunk to make it web-manageable.
Tomorrow I'm off to Brandon to do a show there for Wine Sense. It looks like we're sold out not only for Brandon on Tuesday, but also for Thursday and Friday in Winnipeg. Craig and Colin tell me there are a few tickets left for the Wednesday night, so if you're waiting till the last minute, wait no more! Winnipeg is a great city, and I really enjoy Manitoba, although I've never been there in Spring or Fall, when I'm told the best weather is--for some reason it's always November and December! Mind you, I've got Prairie blood, and we don't call that cold in Swift Current!
After that I'm off to Denver and Missouri, for more events the week of the 26th. Denver is very cool--a beergeek's dream-city, and I even know the mayor! I'm looking forward to seeing Kansas City again, too.
Now, I just have to find my BC Lions shirt to wear to Winnipeg . . . hmm, on second thought, that might not be the smartest idea I ever had--a Lion's jersey in the Blue and Gold room . . . oh well, there's more friends in wine than in football rivalries, I guess!
Off to the airport! Away!

Not sure about your BC Lions shirt but right now your Speedy Creek (Swift Current) Sask Roughrider roots will cause you much problems.Steve
