Noble Prize

Noble indeed!
Winexpert Retailer Honoured by Business Community.
Peter Mills, Winexpert Halifax
It's not everyday that we're honoured by our peers, at least not for me, so I thought it only fitting to pass on some recognition received by Noble Grape, a Winexpert retailer with five stores in Halifax, N.S. and one in Fredericton, N.B.
Every year, the Halifax Chamber of Commerce and the Globe and Mail newspaper combine to honour Halifax businesses in one of four categories: New Business of the Year, Small Business of the Year, Business of the Year, and Business Person of the Year. The selection process is quite rigorous, requiring nomination by an outside party, letters of recommendation, and judging by a selection committee. Over 100 entries were received in each of the four categories. These are narrowed down to 20 finalists in each category. Of the 20 finalists, 5 from each category are short-listed for recognition at the annual awards banquet held at the Halifax World Trade and Convention centre.
Winexpert is very proud to announce that Noble Grape was one of the five finalists to be honoured in this years awards in the Small Business of the Year category. This is truly a recognition to be proud of, and we would like to congratulate Steve and Mark Haynes on their achievement. The video below is an excerpt from the awards presentation made in front of a thousand members of Halifax's elite business community.
Great job!

Big congrats to my favorite wine store! They certainly deserve it.
