Our R&D laboratory has paired with leading researchers in the field of plant genetics to combine desirable fruit qualities in our raw materials with 'value-added' features, the sort of super-premium luxury qualities usually only found on Zeppelins and vintage Belgian luxury cars!

This exciting new line of Island Mist Refreshment Beverages is Radiant Ridge Glowing Grapes Wine Kool-ers™! Made from the juice of special grapes cross-bred with selected fruits containing spliced material from coelenterates (jellyfish) these kits not only taste great, but also glow in the dark!

This bright glow (maximum emission at 509 nm) is created with EGFP, an enhanced version (i.e., a synthetic mutation) of the original wild-type fluorescent gene found in the jellyfish Aequorea Victoria.

Now that's good jellyfish!

EGFP gives about two orders of magnitude greater fluorescence in cells than the original jellyfish gene. Imagine it: you'll never lose your drink in a dark room again! Your wine cellar will light your whole home! Romantic dinners won't need candles–just another bottle of your delicious wine!
