Tick, Tick, Tick
Is it just me, or does that second hand look crooked? Gotta get my old tuxedo pressed
Gotta sew a button on my vest
'Cause tonight I've gotta look my best
Lulu's back in town
Gotta get a half a buck somewhere
Gotta shine my shoes and slick my hair
Gotta get myself a boutonniere
Lulu's back in town
Fats Waller knew his stuff, for sure. Limited Edition is back in town. If you look downleft on this blog page you'll see a countdown clock for the release of the Limited Edition kits. As I write this it's 21 days, six and a half hours. It seems like only yesterday that I was dashing around the continent telling folks all about the wines, flavours and foods for the 20th anniversary LE event. Time flies while you're making other plans!
But I'm calm, I'm relaxed, it's all under control: the Limited Edition video presentation is in the can, getting burned to disc as we speak, the marketing stuff is ready to go, the wines are formulated and tasting great, and we've chosen the food pairings and the commercial equivalents. I'm getting that old curtain-going-up tingle, because in one month I'm going to assume the mantel of the road warrior again: three months of solid travel around the Canada and the USA, week-and-week. I'll post a list of the cities I'm visiting here in a week or two when they're nailed down and I'll blog about all of it as I go. If you're a Twitter user, I'll be hashtagging under #limitededition2010 (if that means nothing, ask your teenager).
Woo hoo! I'm so excited, that if anyone asks me what the varieties are before midnight tonight I'll announce them right here in the comments! I promise! Watch this space, or even better, check out our Limited Edition Website, www.limitededition2010.com for updates and contests and other great stuff!

Yes Tim, it's just you. The technical answer is that the second hand is bent down a bit especially on the tail, and we're looking at it from the side, but you knew that! Anyway we are anxious to see what you've come up with this go round. Last year's Trio Blanca was a terrific blend, I had forgotten that I actually do like Chenin Blanc, in judicious amounts.
